Liffiton joined Glanbia Performance Nutrition R&D in 2016 after nearly 30 years with Kraft Foods, where he served as the Global expert in powdered beverages process development. He has worked globally and domestically and has extensive experience starting-up contract packing processes. He has successfully formed and led large domestic & global cross-functional teams. John developed and successfully commercialized new powder handling technologies as well as being the go-to troubleshooter on powder & bulk solids processes for his organizations. His career spanned packaging development, to process research on high-pressure pasteurization, to commercializing liquid filtration systems, optimizing and capacity increases to RTE bar lines to product development for Dinner kits. However, his deepest core competencies are in powdered beverage process development, process capability studies, formulation, validating fortification, and especially implementing segregation reduction techniques (process, equipment design, procedures & ingredient selection).
