As part of this informative session, we will walk the audience through the basics of pneumatic conveying and the key factors of the different convey methods. You’ll come away with the ability to discuss the basic concepts of pneumatic conveying as well as the pros and cons of different methods. You’ll be able to determine when it is appropriate to choose pneumatic conveying over mechanical conveying for various powder types and properties. Topics covered will include:

  • Dense phase and lean phase (also known as dilute phase) conveying
  • Key aspects of the effects of pneumatic conveying on various types of powders will be discussed
  • The powder properties that should be known when selecting a convey method
