Part of a successful Dust Hazards Analysis (DHA) is to determine whether to eliminate or mitigate the identified hazards to a level where the risk is more than acceptable. This is called “combustible dust compliance” and goes beyond the prescriptive elements of the NFPA standards (e.g. explosion venting). Topics covered include:

  • The interdependencies and overlaps that exist between the NFPA standards which are applicable to your process
  • Proven methods and practical approaches to combustible dust compliance
  • How to set a baseline for “more than acceptable” risk for hazards discovered during the DHA
