Pneumatic conveying systems are widely used in the process industries, but poor system selection often leads to poor performance and unreliable operation. These issues arise because of a lack of understanding of the capability of pneumatic conveying systems and the critical importance that bulk material properties have on system performance. This session will outline the capability of Dilute and Dense phase systems and take delegates through the system selection process. Topics covered include:

  • Explore the importance of bulk material properties in determining system performance
  • Examine the capability of dilute and dense Phase conveying systems
  • Discuss the essential selection criteria for each type of system
