Erin Webb, Ph.D., P.E. is a Senior R&D Staff Member in the Environmental Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She received a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Tennessee, M.S. in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Florida. Her research is focused on simulation and analysis of supply chains to deliver biomass as a feedstock for production of fuels, products, and power. Dr. Webb serves as co-lead of the Analysis Team of the Department of Energy Bioenergy Technologies Office Feedstock-Conversion Interface Consortium (FCIC), an integrated and collaborative network of eight national laboratories dedicated to understanding how biomass properties influence collection, storage, handling, preprocessing and conversion technologies. She also leads the Economic and Sustainability Analysis Team of the Center for Bioenergy Innovation.
